Just got in a shipment and I poured a light touch of each one into a glass, and sipped it neat, to try and determine, which one would be my favorite. I am no expert on this stuff, just a boozer who likes to drink. I have had a little experience drinking scotch. Yo Sarah says I am a alkie, I say I am not, they go to meetings, I don't go to their meetings, I am a drunk, drunks do not go to meetings, therefore, they are not alcoholics.
There are times, you toss the cork over your shoulder and go deep into a bottle of single malt, like when some dizzy dame gets to ya. A tomato will drive you to drink.

Now there is one hell of a fine excuse, to tie one on.
Major Strasser asks Rick what his politics is, and he replies, I am a drunk. Drunks don't have no politics.
I begin with a little snort of Blue Label, just to wake my tongue up.
Johnny Walker Green label 18 Great stuff, great buy for the money. I am very high on this one. It's not a single malt, but several, not a blended, but its unique.
Highland park 18 Awesome stuff, this is what drinking is all about. When it hits your tougue, it sets it alive with feelings and emotions and it tingles. Sex, in a glass. When I get to the distillery this August, I plan to jump into the Vat and drown. I can't think of a better way to die. If ya gotta go, that has to be the way. As I would sink below the surface, my last words would be, death, where is thy sting. When I hit the pearly gates, it will take St Peter a week to dry me out. When I begin to evaporate it all out, it will be called, the angels share.
Balvenie 12 double wood, nice idea, Nice and dark color, good kick, good booze, sheets well, very impressed with it. If you want to do some serious drinking, and get seriously fooked up, this one is it. One of the finest scotches I ever drank.
Glen Morangie 12 I liked it a lot, high quality, nice taste, really nice scotch. Nick kick to it, good booze.
Laphroaig 12 says to have more flavor than any other, too much, total over kill, rarely do I not like a scotch, and this one I dis liked, way too weird. It's awful, but remember, I don't like Glenfiddich either, and a lot of people do, so my opinions don't always mesh with the majority.
MaCallan 12 This is damn fine whisky, first class stuff. It does not get any better than this. Highland park sets you on your ass, this sort of sneaks up on you. Absolutely outstanding.
Famous Grouse 18 Nice dark color I like, good kick, strong booze, fine high quality. It's not fair to compare 18's to 12's, many 12's get better and peak to perfection at 18, then go down hill from there.
And after the tasting, we will belt down a Gold Label Johnny Walker, and finish off with a Glenlevit, one of my favorites. I love, variety.
So after all of that, what is my final conclusion, my choice of what rings my bell.
