As a pro player I have been using and selling this glove since 1993 and have tried out every one on the market. I can tell you that most out there are really bad. Do not buy the no name Chinese imports with the low price. Do not buy blem gloves. They will fall apart on you fast. The quality is not there. Because these are inexpensive, never buy the lowest price. Only buy the quality leader from an authorized distributor like us. Every glove from us is first class stock, no blems, no seconds.
This three fingered glove works great in warm humid conditions where talc will get sticky. No more power mess to put up with. It absorbed moisture and it feels like a 2nd thin skin. The spandex type material pulls on your hand easily and expands to make a form fit. Because the fabric breathes it will stroke smooth even if it gets moist.
I have only found two gloves that have a good price and quality IMHO. Stay with either one of these and you will be in good shape. We sell both, I use both. As both of them have the same price and quality, The Sure shot covers my entire hand and the Sir Joseph has a part of the glove open on the side, or cut away so your skin lays on the table. Some like that, so it’s an individual preference. If you specify Sure Shot on your order we will ship it for you.
Sure shot only makes two colors, Beige and Black. Being a white guy I use the beige because it blends with my natural color and most don’t even see I am wearing one. Some like the Black because it does not show up the chalk as much. Specify your hand size, S, M, L. You can buy only one, but I recommend having at least 3 or 4 at all times. You can get just about any color in the rainbow beyond beige and black, we stock red and blue in the Sir Joseph line. Sir Joseph is out of North Carolina. Using the white hand powder gets it all over the table and soon you have a mess. That powder then gets on the balls and they now throw different and you are missing cuts. Let it get real hot and sticky and the powder fails to work. Go into a bar and pick up a stick and feels like the shaft has glue on it and you then know why you need a glove in your pool case. Now the shaft is nice and slick even in very wet conditions like it is raining outside. All the friction is gone and you will have more power because the cue speed is now increased.

Pool players are afraid to wear a glove for some unknown reason. Maybe it monkey see, monkey do and since most don’t, they don’t want to be the odd man out. Gloves are used in many real men’s sports, like Golf, Football, Baseball, and many more so don’t think twice about going to one. Nobody on your team will make fun of you. Yes, the glove will feel funny and you won’t like it. Play through that and in 2 or 3 days soon you won’t know it’s on your hand any more. You then will not be able to play without it any more.

I sometimes play in tourneys that go on all day long, or teach 8 hour lessons. I change my glove every 2 or 3 hours so I have a dry one on at all times with no chalk dust on the fingers. That is why you need more than one. I change a golf glove every 9 holes for the same reason. No golfer has just one glove in his bag. When I get home at night, I take the gloves and put them on and put soft soap between the fingers and rub it in. If there is a lot of chalk dug in, I will use an old toothbrush to rub the chalk out adding more soft soap in that area. Wash it with clear water, squeeze the water out and hang it up to dry. The next morning it’s ready to go again feeling like it brand new. It is like your wife’s hose she washes and hangs to dry, water will not hurt this glove. It is a lycra spandex material which stretches and fits your hand nice and tight and its stays flexible and slippery to allow the cue shaft to flow through the fingers with great ease.

How long they last depends on how many hours you put on one. For most who play a lot, that might be 6 weeks, 3 months? A golf glove does not last any longer and it’s made out of leather and cost 3 times more. You must accept they do not last forever and eventually like a golf glove holes will begin to appear in the fingers as the threads break down. You don’t return a worn out golf glove for a new one, you go buy a new one and it’s the same with a pool glove. You do not buy one for life?

When one gets old and is looking bad I will retire it from important play and replace it with a new one. I may continue to milk it along using it for practice when I am alone. The chalk which is like abrasive dirt eventually makes the area between the fingers where the cue slides sticky and washing won’t remove it. I just spray a little WD 40 in that area and the glove is once more slick.

Damages & Returns

If you receive a damaged or defective item then report it via email. On damage we will have you ship it back to us and we will ship you a FREE replacement. The buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. No items can be returned without an RMA tag number we issue to you.
