Bernies DVD
members send me these of their play and I tell them what I see and what they need to do. This is always private email so not to embarrass any one. I can always find something in just about any ones game no matter how good they play. I see flaws in Earls game. Once a top player has grooved a flaw and over came it there is no reason to remove it. Jimmy Ballard gave up on trying to remove the loop in Miller barbers golf swing because Miller could not play with out it even though it was technically wrong nobody ever struck a ball purer than he.
In this case, Bernies game is so good, so strong, I want you all to know what I saw. A pro level player, excellent potter of the ball, very straight shooter. Very fast and loose, very confident. His basics are excellent, I would not change anything. Outstanding game and play, my compliments. Very impressive.
All I would do with you would be to tighten up your cue ball control. Now and then you turn whitey loose and do not plan where it goes and almost scratch. I would have you walk more angles.
You need to work the no no zone concept. If you do not know what that is, call me and I'll fill you in. I install it on every lesson and pitch it hard. You never let the cue ball within a diamond of a pocket.
In the end, it all comes down to cue ball control and keeping tight angle to angles.
