Is Pooh around ?
I'd like to talk about making the left - right switch.
Or more to the point, ask for some advice about how to make a smooth transition.
Thanks

Hi Pin,
It is like when you are standing and planning how to do the shot, where to put the cb, etc. Then before you get down on the ball, you stop thinking about it. Then you gat down on the shot, and shoot with the execution part of the brain.
The part of the brain that executes uses muscle memory and visualization but not thinking in words. The part of the brain that talks to you in words, you leave behind before you get down on the shot.
Some people have a 'switch', like the last thing they do before getting down on the shot. Like stroking the cue, or chalking or whatever. If you notice what you do right before you go down on the shot, it might help you, if this does not come naturally to you.

Would you consider that last thing to be a 'trigger' for the switch ?
I thought I had figured out exactly where to make the switch - after my visualisation - which was what I considered to be the last 'internal' part of my shot.
But now I'm not so sure again. :-?
