A dime tip shape

It used to be a nickle shape, but most pros today are into sharper angles and a dime. It makes sense, flat tip works on center ball hit, but high and low, it does not, because then the ball is curving away from your tip, so you want the tip, to be the same as the curve of the ball, and that's a dime, and even at that, as you can see, you still are only hitting half of the tip on the ball, a nickle 25%, a quarter 15%. More slope, more power.

Its easy to see, the more the slope, the more tip on the ball.
