tHE MAIN purpose of Religion has been to gather wealth to Rome to let the elite live like Kings, to control the masses, through fear, of excommunication and then being sent to hell to burn forever, if they did not obey the rules, and to give the masses hope, when there was no hope.

When using the concepts of reason and logic, absolutely agreeable with me, one should then further question, "What or who created God?'' Since your logical thinking refuses to accept the creation of all that surrounds us except by a superior being/power, then logic forces the questioning of what/who created the creator.
