Watch your self to greatness

Acquire an accustats library of a number of top players you wish to play like. Then watch a top match every night before you go to bed. It keeps your mind fresh on what top play is like. In time, you will begin to copy their stoke and see their patterns and how they play position. Soon your play will rise up and this is how most greats learned the game, monkey see, monkey do, watching top players and copying what they saw.

I do not want to watch Grady Matthews, lousy basics, lousy jab stroke, pokes too many balls, plays too quick which is why he misses a lot. I like Mike Sigel, Jim Rempe, Dallas West, Oliver Ortmann, Mike Immonen, the ones who play fast and who play perfect pool at times. Buddy Hall plays great, but he's too fat, too slow, and I don't want to see that slow tempo. I wont watch Kid Delicious, and all his fidgits. Earl in his prime was great, any Efren is also usually perfect. The list of great players could fill 2 or 3 pages, so I'll stop now.

Played him many times, what a great player and close friend he was, but many of the tour tapes of him, hell he will be 300, then 400 lbs, and having all that weight, he slowed down a lot, and I dont like to watch, slow play. When he was thin, he was faster.

Same thing with Buddy Hall. When you are 400-500 lbs, you plod around like a dino with a broken foot.

Pool is all about, monkey see, monkey do, and that is why this works.
