1950 MACGREGOR 3 WOOD OWNED BY JIMMY DEMARET, A MACGREGOR TOUR PLAYER. PLAYER MODEL, TONEY PENNA 403 PERSIMMON HEAD
ALL ORIGINAL, HEAD, SHAFT AND GRIP.
DEMARET WON 34 TIMES ON TOUR INCLUDING 3 MASTERS. HE WAS KNOWN FOR HIS COLORFUL GOLF ATTIRE.
AFTER MR. DEMARET RETIRED FROM THE TOUR, HE AND JACKIE BURKE OPENED CHAMPIONS GOLF CLUB IN HOUSTON. HE DIED IN 1983.
I GOT THE CLUB FROM HIS WIFE. THIS IS THE CLUB HE WON THE 1950 MASTERS WITH. OTHER THAN PAINT, THE HEAD IS PERFECT, NO CHIPS,DINGS OR CRACKS ANYWHERE.
THIS CLUB TO ME IS LIKE AN OLD ORIGINAL 57 CHEVY UNRESTORED, A SURVIVOR. A PIECE OF GOLFING HISTORY.
