Is pot on the way, will we all become, pot heads?

What is going on in place in California is scary, they are growing the shit all over the back yards, and selling it in stores.

Teenagers are turning back to it in favor of binge drinking, stupid and dumb, or meth, which is insane, and they are not smoking cigs but they see Pot as harmless.

I have smoked it years ago if somebody passed me one at a party, but I was never a user, never bought it. I had no problem with it, thought it was pretty cool. I just never wanted to get hooked on it and stayed away from it for that reason. You can get hooked on coffee, its a drug too. I could see I could have been easily become a daily pot smoker. When I broke my back, I loved my Moraphine, my Demerol, my Perks. That shit was really cool, but as I healed I dropped all pain pills, because I know, all drugs, enslave and hook you. A little moderate use of anything is fine. But trying to keep drugs in a moderate usage is very hard to do. You keep needing more and more to keep the same high and there is the trap.

I just thought pot was a lousy drug delivery method and you are still putting hot smoke into your lungs which can do the same damage cigs can. Cigs damn near killed me and damaged my lungs years ago after 35 years of smoking. I lost 50% of my breathing capacity. This is why I won't touch a joint today, my lungs have 80% recovered and I am not putting anything into them that is harmful. So I have been there, done all that shit, and I am the voice of experience and reason here.

No smoker today, would smoke an unfiltered cig, but that is what pot is. Each joint is like smoking 10 unfiltered camels cigs. So its a no brainer, you are doing the same damage to your lungs as smoking cigs, and can get the same lung cancer. Pot is not harmless. No Drug is. They all have a price, you have to pay. Booze is not harmless and can kill you. If I was prez, I would legalize pot, and tax and sell it in liquor stores. I would allow people to grow 3 plants in their back yards for their personal use but make it illegal for them to sell it. I would legalize prostitution for the same reason, both are here, you can't get rid of either one, so you might as well tax and control both of them. It's the holy roller bible belting Baptists who crusade against this. Even if they legalize it and put it in liquor stores, I still won't buy it or use it. Same on Hookers, I don't buy them either. If I can't get it free, I do without. But there is a big market for both, and millions of customers who do and will.

What do you think about this coming new turn to pot. What is behind this, and where is it going? What is your position on this?
