A 5 star restaurant

Everyone should eat in one, just once. I used to entertain a lot of new, and potential large corporate accounts in them when I worked for AT&T. My boss would always pick out the place, which would be one of the top 10 in the city, and we would go all out to impress the new client and his wife. A fine bottle of red and white, and the more expensive the menu, the better my boss liked it to show off.

This is what kept these places in business, the corporate expense accounts and the fat cats living like kings and sultans and having the company pay for it all through sales and entertainment.

And when the depression hit, the companies cut back, these places are folding all over the country.

I can't tell you how many of these I have been in all over the country, in NYC, SF, New Orleans, LA, Chicago, Houston. I have had some meals, fit for a king, and it did not come out of my pocket, that was the best part.

Eating in these top places in Atlanta I have sat right next to some black stars Halle Berry and Janet Jackson who were both lovely. Some are not so nice, Correta King was an ass hole, she acted like she was the queen of Sheba, and would not talk to waiters, or stews on planes, you had to talk to her servent to get an answer, you could not talk to her highnee directly. If you did, she would just look away. Another world class ass hole, Whoppie Goldberg walked into the Ritz dinning room with jeans on and sat down and they told her to leave and come back dressed for dinner. She goes, do you know who I am, I eat in all the best places, in jeans. They threw her out and she went berserk. I loved it. She went around for years telling everyone to boycott the white racist Nazis that ran it. Some of these big stars, it goes to their heads. Too bad, nobody put Correta off a plane. Now and then, some of these ass holes, need to be taken down a peg, or stood up to.

I say, if you want to eat out in jeans, then go to the Waffle house. When I ate there, I wore my tux when it was a private dinner, entertaining customers, a business suit, you don't want to overdress them. If they overdress you, that's fine.

The Ritz Carlton is going away, I only ate there twice, and it was wonderful.
