Common Characteristics of Great Champions
• All of those ones who manage to become the prime, prime stars in the sport are first all morally, high quality people.
• Confidence, courage, straight forwardness and a tremendous fighting spirit characterizes all of them. Besides they were very well developed physically. They are the people that won, who by God-given natural talent combined with the desire and ambition, and a tremendous dedication; they managed to climb to the top.
• This is really the combination. And people are asking me which one is more important, talent or mental abilities or qualities? I would say 50-50, and it's always been that way in the past. 50-50 is the best proportion.
• But some of them manage to become great athletes and very powerful athletes; some have more moral attributes and less physical, yes. That was always something that I've never seen it the other way. The ones, who haven't had the mental strength, had the moral straight forwardness and the goal-oriented mentality; they never would climb up to the top no matter how talented they were.
• They have guts, the heart of a lion, they will never give up.
• They want to be a champion, feel they are worthy to be one.
• They love winning, being special, and the rewards that brings.
