Fle Pool Inc is an authorized distributor for Longoni blue diamond chalk in the USA approved out of Italian HQ. This means you can be assured you are getting the real deal from us, no counterfeits and junk with fake wraps around it. When things get expensive, people rip it off. Buy only from an authorized dealer like us and nobody else and you are safe. You get the authentic product from FLE that is fresh and dry because our chalk is flown in and does not sit in the bowels of a ship for 2 months getting wet and dead in its action. We have a daily turn over on it. Chalk needs to be fresh and dry for it to give you that top performance. The net is full of those sub dealers buying from a prime like us and your chalk gets shipped too many times and picks up more moisture and comes in playing poorly.
Keeping moisture off of it is vital. If you buy 4 pieces, put two in a small zip lock bag in your pool case and leave the other two in an open box in your office. Chalk likes a stable temperature, warm and not moist.
This is the Worlds most famous chalk we import into the USA from Italy. Almost all the European pool and 3-cushion pros use it. The world champion Kaiser, Ralf Souquet in Germany swears by it. It is now used by more worldwide pros than any other brand. Most of the top players in the US are now using it. It has almost cult status. If you are using a very hard leather tip, or a phenolic tip on your break or jump cues you know how hard it is now to get chalk to stick on it. Blue Diamond sticks to them like a magnet and the miss hits and miss cues are reduced.
Ok, you want it, but you go into sticker shock. You are paying 35 cents a cube for master blue, and now blue diamond is $4 a cube in most places. You ask why. If you are like most players, you miss cue 2 or 3 times a game. You do not think much about that, but those 3 miss cues could have been why you lost in a close match. If you could win by eliminating those 3 scratches would $3.00 be worth it? Especially when that $3.00 piece of chalk would last for weeks or months? Chalk is so cheap, simply do not go cheap with it, or think cheap. Buy the best, and let the losers play with the 35 cent cube. You have the $3.50 cube and the advantage.
Money does buy, advantages. This is one of them. Winners always use the best equipment, losers go cheap. If that is not true then why are you not playing with a $26 Kmart cue? Why do you keep upgrading in your cues. When do you upgrade in your chalk?
Why is Blue Diamond better? A few years ago Master was afraid of being sued because it got out their chalk had lead and mercury in it. That is what made the chalk stick to the tip. It had been made that way for 200 years. Everyone used this for 200 years with no problems. Nobody ever had a situation with it, nobody ever got sick or died, but in this sue you and take you to court society they decided to play it safe and they took the lead out, killing the chalks performance. your chalk went dead and the best players knew it at once.
They horded up all the old chalk and if you see world champion Johnnie Archer you will see him playing with old pieces of pre flag chalk that looks awful. He is milking then for all they have, because he knows they are better. There is your evidence, these pros know. It does not matter if you cant tell the difference if they can. Go with what they are telling you. Follow them on this one.
Immediately the players knew the old chalk, was better than the new chalk with the flag on it. The miss cues increased. Then pro players who played all over the world began to realize that these environmental restrictions did not exist in Europe and they began using their chalk, which coated and held tight on the tip like the old Master used to do.
Problem solved, just use the European chalk and the Blue Diamond by Longoni clearly was the pros favorite choice. They have the same chalk you used to play with, only now it had a different wrapper and name on it and unfortunately a higher price. Thank your EPA for that one.
Chalk is heavy and when I sell a 12 pack of master on EBay I charge $2.69 but the freight I have to charge $3.39 even with the cheapest parcel post rate it is more than the chalk costs you. So when the Blue Diamond is shipped to me from Europe, and I reship it to you, this is why the cost escalates so high. The freight sends the cost up. Nobody is making any money on this and there are very few dealers who handle it. Nobody is ripping you off.
This is very good chalk, which will outperform whatever you are now using, and the cost to get it to you is something we all have to live with. If you want the best, then you will pay a premium price for it. If you are serious about your game and want to be a winner, then pennies over chalk will not be something you will worry about.
You will never know, until you buy at least 4 pieces and give them a fair trial in play. Then, and only then, will you know if it’s worth the extra price. If you can’t run 3 balls, you probably can’t tell and you should stay with your 35 cent piece, but if you are a better more advanced player, you will know immediately. You will clearly see why you must play with this chalk. You then, will not have a choice.
I see league players with an $800 custome cue and they won’t pay $3.00 for a piece of chalk and will go cheap with a 35 cent piece or expect the room to give them a nice new piece for free. think about it, how many times does that happen?
The room gives you a pos junk piece that is worn out. The stupidity of this, makes the angels weep. Learn to control this vital piece of your equipment. Provide your own chalk and only play with the best. What that brand is, is something you and only you can find out in play and in experimentation. It might be Master, I might be silver cup, it could be Blue Diamond. Only you will know, which is why I stay out of any recommendation here.
The most important thing on your cue, is your tip, and without good chalk that prevents you from miss cueing, your tip is worthless. You are paying $40 for a Moori tip, and wont upgrade your chalk $3.00 to insure it works perfectly and you smear 35 cent bad chalk on it, but you dress your tip with a $20 tapper. Does that make sense? Somewhere here, you need to do a new evaluation and examination of what your priorities are. Is it saving pennies, or is it winning at all costs. You are spending big bucks on everything and going cheap on the chalk, which is, your cheapest item. Does this make sense?
BLUE DIAMOND CHALK BY LONGONI IN ITALY. Just do it dude. What is the downside, you blew $12, so what, you blow that off every time you walk into a bar or pool room dude. What is the upside, you could discover something that is much better and helps you win more games. Try to tag a price on that for me please.
If you wish to purchase insurance, that will be $1 extra. If insurance is not purchased, I am not responsible for lost or damaged items when I can furnish proof of shipping.
