Good luck on the tours, FWIW, the UPA has no money - no sponsors - no backing - and you'd be better off burning your money than giving it to the UPA. These days its better to play the regional events - that way you can keep your expenses down to a minimum.

Myself, I am not playing anymore or teaching. I closed my school on December 10 (last week). There are too many negative people in pool for me to want associate myself with the game anymore. There is no more honor, there is no more appropriateness, so I have decided to remove myself from the situation.

Perhaps someday the game will change, but I don't have the time to waste on it anymore. For now, the bad far outweighs the good. I have some projects that I will be completing, and after that, its adios.
