The quality of this is very poor. I have a clean copy and as soon as I figure out how to work my new machine, which converts vhs to dvd, I will put this on the contest list. You see just a clip from the end of the movie short. This never was in Johnston City, which was in the mid 60's. Willie or Ponzi never went in their door. This was filmed in 48, on an mgm sound stage, by Pete smith, and it was all BS, a con. None of this, ever happened. That was not even Ponzi, but a fat actor who could not even play. Bunch of trick shots tossed in to inpress the fans. To build Willie up. At the time, Ponzi was all but dead and not playing. This shows willie making a 6 rail bank to win the 41 championship. The problem is Willie played Lauri for it, which proves the big lie, that they sold to generations of pool players, thinking willie made this shot.

Fats and I both do this shot, in our shows. Its become a standard for artistic players to do. Miz used to do the backkick you saw ponzi do.

Now, you have the rest of the story, the real truth.
