Any thoughts on how?

When I try to get into the 'smooth' mindset, it tends to last a little while, then I forget and go back to habitual less smooth.

But I think there's a lot of merit in the idea.

Also, Bern, would you mind me picking Fast's brain on this too? I'd like his views too, but don't want to look like I'm 'comparing' Pros or undermining anyone :)

Cheers,
Pin

Edit to add: I think it'd be interesting to try out this attitude/mindset in life generally too, to see what happens.

Hi Pin, by all means ask FastLarry's views on this neither one of us will be insulted, we both have our own beliefs on how to do things, some we agree on and others we may disagree on (they are few and far between though), but it is a phylosophical disagreement as we have the utmost respect for each other as teachers.

Smoothness is a great aspect to bring to your life and I hope you enjoy it.

If you are interested in a technique for employing smoothness in your pool stroke send me a PM and I will PM you back the info.

Hi Bern,

Are you around much these days?

I PM'd you back but hadn't heard from you. I'd still be interested in your thoughts.

Cheers,

Hi Pin, I have been around but I haven't recieved any new PM's from you since the one on Jan. 19th, which I responded to.

If you did not recieve my response let me know and I will resend it, or if you asked something else that I did not recieve please send it again and I will answer you.

I try to check in every day or two because I respect the people here and attempt to provide the best information and knowledge that I can as this is the only place I teach outside of my personal students.

Sorry, you did indeed respond, but I didn't see it. The site toolbar told me I had no new messages, but your reply was in there all along.

I really like your idea. Have replied in full by PM.

Cheers,
