ditto, thank God its over and I struggled through another one. If I heard rudolph the red nosed raindeer one more time I would have busted a cap in my skull.

We had an Indian Summer going for about 2 weeks on the gulf coast so it just didn't feel very Christmasey. Finally got down into the 50's for a clouple of days.

Had hoped to be in the new house for Christmas, didn't make it. Hope to have the final inspection tomorrow, if the County gets their act together. If we clear we can start moving in. Plan to have our Family gathering in our new home on New Years Eve.

Splurged and got Ms Pel 'n me one of the new Dell 'puters that look like an Apple where the whole thing is built into the monitor unit. You might ask, why not just get the Apple?, cause I got a friend that don't know bout Apples but is a whiz on PC if I want any 'tweekin' done. 'sides, I have had good results with Dell. Might wait till we move to hook it up, ain't decided.

Let us look forward to a great '08. Wishing everyone a happy, prosperous, and safe New Year.

I have 2 cpus and monitors on my desk, one is a dell, the other I call the googoopos. I built it all from parts from my local Korean cpu shop. Its a scream machine, but is like my Ford, fix or repair daily. My wife has a dell at her desk. She likes them.

I feel for you I moved into mine about a month ago, but we are still moving. The problem is i did not move far enough. It is too easy to go make a small load instead of getting it all. You sure collect a lot of junk in 35 years in the same house.!!

Have a nice holiday what is left mine is gone and I am now starting the day after!

Once a year do spring house cleaning. If you have not used it in the last year, it goes in the trash, to goodwill or in the yard sale. Don't do that and you become hostage to storing your junk you don't need.

I have found out on numerous occasions that you will not need it until you throw it away. I still agree with you though. The problem is I am not the only one in my household that does not want to throw anything away. If you know what I mean.

Read this a long time ago.

When cleaning get a box about the size of a banana box. Put any item you have not used in a year in the box. When full, seal the box and date it. DO NOT label what is in it. If in six months you have not opened the box because you needed something you remembered was in it - THROW IT AWAY! By then you will have forgotten what was in the box so you won't miss it.

So far I have not had the guts to do this.

The truth comes out, you do no practice what you preach. Pack rats are like alkies, they know they have to stop, but they can't help them selves. Since you can't help your self, have your wife do the spring cleaning for you and toss your junk.

yeah yeah yeah, watch him wiggle and squirm, trying to hold on to his stuff. You got enough stuff, unload some of your stuff and bog somebody new down with it.

Here is your solution, this Spring, hire a Mexican family to come in and tell them anything you have not used in the last year they can have. They will clean da joint out faster than you can say aye car rom ba.
