(1) I am making my new year’s resolution early this year and putting it into practice now. Here are my first 3 which will be on my top 10 list. Take this from somebody who has been there, done that and learned his lesson the hard way. I will never ever fight with another punk or bottom feeder again on the net. They will form gangs and keep attacking you. Even if you win, you lose. To fight somebody hiding under a rock with no name is insanity. If attacked, don't respond; turn the other cheek and leave. Always take the high road and never let them drag you down into their sewer. Some forms have the ability to block that person so you no longer see their posts. It takes two to tango and if you don't engage they soon boor and the troll then hunts down another victim to harass. Never post on any un moderated board or any place the owner is not friendly to you or does not apply his rules fairly and evenly.
(2) For those who have attacked me in the past for whatever reason, jealously, gang banger mob mentality, or just mean spirited or evil, I turn the other cheek and forgive them. It was my mistake for giving them the first time of day and air time. They won't and can't change, but I can and have. We should not spend any time looking into the past about what we were or what we did wrong. All of our attention should focus into the future trying to become what we want to be which is a better kinder gentler person. I am here to promote the growth of the game I love and I shall not let any punk sidetrack those noble efforts.
(3) As we approach the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ I will empty my heart of any past hatred and anger and now fill it with love and compassion for all. If all I do is love, then I cannot hate. Buddha says hatred is only ended by love. We have all had many people wrong us in the last year. They have lied to us, stole from us and betrayed us. It's time to clean your soul and forgive them all. I would not let those people back into my life ever again, but I would no longer harbor anger and hate for them for hatred poisons your soul and gives you unhappiness. Love gives you happiness. At this time of year everyone should give all of their enemies of the past year amnesty and start over giving them a fresh clean slate for the beginning of the New Year. Tell your enemy that and ask him to do same for you. If I do these three things, and you do, Jesus will smile on us both and his blessing will give us peace, love in our hearts, new hope and promise.

I wish you happiness and health. I wish you to be content with the gifts you have been given, to appreciate them, and to pass on the knowledge you have learned over the course of your life. It is my firm belief that it is our duty to pass on the experience and knowledge we have to the next generation. Most of our lives are spent gathering this information, to do what? Keep it and not share? No, I think we all come to the moment in life where we pass beyond the need to hold it close to our chest, and to begin to teach, not preach. Do it with humility and do it with confidence knowing that you are improving someone with your wisdom.

I also wish Larry and everyone on site a happy holidays. I made it home for thanksgiving, but had to return to Qatar to spend my Christmas, I did manage to order one of Larry’s cue sticks while I was home so although I will not make it home for Christmas my present should be there when I make it back on my next trip. I concur with all the Generosity that FL has given this Forum members and the whole pool industry should appreciate his giving back to the sport.
