Ask a question to the top teacher in the world.
If you could walk up to him, and get one question answered. You could
finally get the true exact answer to it, what would you ask?

What drills do I have to do to grove my stroke, improve cue ball movement, and pocket balls better?
When you are riding it
home, can see the finish line, don't spit da bit, begin beating the ass
with your riding whip and yell out like Tarzan, who's yo daddy. When
she screams FL, don't take it too hard, life goes on.

We'll I am certainly not the greatest teacher in the world, but since we don't know who he really is, let me make a stab at this one.

Drills will not improve your stroke, for that you need lessons and to buy the stroke trainer.
Drills do help you pot balls better, but I have training and practice methods just for that.

What drills do do, is there an echo in here, an echo in here, is improve your cue ball control, which gives you shorter and easier shots, which does help you pot more balls.

If you want drills, I have boo coo of them on my web site www.fastlarrypool.com Open the encyclopedia.

The ones you must do every day to improve are the 8-7 cpu print, dreaded circle, the Mosconi half circle around the side pocket and the L drill.
My advanced students work the RHClD and the drill of doom.

Serious students I have on a drill program, where they do different ones every day and rotate around 20 of them.

They put together a program a few years ago where they asked that question to hundreds of players which was?

Ask a question to the top teacher in the world.
If you could walk up to him, and get one question answered. You could
Finally get the true exact answer to it, what would you ask?

The questions rolled in and most were really solid and good. Once they were in place they then assembled the top 5 master level instructors in North America to answer them and I was rated #1 and was given the questions first, over the phone and it was recorded. I had no script, no idea of what they would ask?

The phone rings and I am read questions which I answered for 4 l/2 straight hours.

I had no idea it would go on that long. Every week after I went on, the other 4 answered the same questions but they now had the script, the questions and how others answered. They could go to school on that and did. When it was over I ended up with the top ratings which was because I guess me being unprepared, talking from what I knew spontaneously.

At the time I thought the entire thing was dumb but I am always willing to try anything new. I was totally surprised to find my interview drew rave reviews by everyone. I guess there was so much solid information there and bang for the buck everyone who listened to it appreciates its value. $2.99 an hour is a steal and they knew it.

They could play the MP3 CD at their cpu or in their car while going to work.

It was good; it was priced right at only $19.99, which is now up on www.billiards-superstore.com for the reduced price of $14.95.

It introduced a lot of people to me. They could not go up on my web site www.fastlarrypool.com and open trick shots and actually see me play, run the table and make shots that amaze you.
They heard my voice and manner. They got a feel of what my teaching concepts were. They bought my next two DVD's, how to play 26 great trick shots and how to play pool Vol I. Many then saw me teach on film and what they saw caused hundreds of them to travel into Atlanta, from all over the country, from the Far East and Europe for private lessons in my private room. Thousands of people got a better pool game from these numerous projects which were all designed to advance their games to new levels and did exactly that.

We are now in the edit state of our 4th DVD, how to play pool Vol II for the advanced players.

Best Wishes,

How do I get over "Eight Ball"itis" I can generally run the whole table, but when it comes down to the eight ball, I miss the shot 30-40 percent of the time. This frustrates me to no end. I know, I know, its just another ball on the table, but its sooo big and black and shiney... hehehehe gimme the psychology lesson to free me from this common fault Larry.

oKIE dOKIE, DON'T SCREW AROUND, just hit me with the biggun and be done with it huh?

I have been to one worlds fair, one magic castle, north New Joyzee, around the world 3 times, had the around the world done to me 3 times in Singapore, Had a sandwich, been in 70 countries, studied in Tibet and in the Songshan mountains of northern China in the SHAOLIN - Temple. I searched the world and all of it's religions for the answers.

Is there a God, is there a heaven and a hell, and what is it like when you get there. What is the purpose of life and being here. I died back in 76 in the 2nd out break of Legionnaires disease, the first one was in Philly, the 2nd one in Atlanta.

http://www.osha.gov/dts/osta/otm/legionnaires/faq.html

I died, crossed over, saw the tunnel, the light, the whole enchalada. They greeted me with warmth and love, then sent me back, it was not my time.

Is there a God, there must be, what else could be the bright light of warm love. Is there a heaven, yes, been there, done that trip. We are spirit form in heaven. There is a physical shape, but no mass. So could we screw, sure, but what would be the point, you have then evolved beyond primitive emotions like sex and reproduction. If you wanted to have sex, you could have it mentally, in a dream. It would be real.

The best sex here on earth, is thinking about it, dreaming about it, wanting it, lusting after it, and when you get it. It is almost anti climatic, that is sort of a pun isn't it. Your main sex organ is your brain.

We are immortal and can not die. Only our fragile shell wears out and dies, or we kill it somehow in an accident. Our soul, then goes to heaven, to rest. Usually that is 50 to 150 years, then I guess you get bored strumming harps on some cloud and want some real action again, maybe we get horny and want to ride a real ho again, so you come back and are reborn. You have to come back to repay your previous Karma and this cycle continues until you live a pure life and then get to stay in heaven. My last go around was revealed to me in hypnosis where we took me back to what I had been. When I got the shock of my life, who I had been, I went no further back from there, did not want to know. I had been at rest for 56 years. Who was I? I was a sporting man, as I am now.

A real gentleman, kinda looked like an undertaker. Well groomed, dressed nice, his handle was the Deacon. His trick shots were a little weak, but his 14.1 game was fabulous. I would rank them Greenleaf, Mosconi, Crane and Caras. The big 4. He was not known for high runs and instead beat you with 30 and 40 runs and leaving you no shot. However he was first to run 300, 309 in 1939 on a 5x10 so the man could play.

The only one to win a world in I think, 4 different decades. Like Hoppe, played well into old age. The only one of the 4 who played in Johnston city.
His dad was a wealthy attorney and he bought Irving a Cadilliac dealership so he would have a job as pool could not support him without being a gambling roadie which he never was. He was a car salesman.

Everyone should have his 150 and out in 66.

Go to my contest to win my DVD's, page one and its listed as #7. (7) Crave vs Balsis, 66 Us Open, crane runs 150 & out. DVD. 4 Stars.

BALLS: DARK BALLS ARE THE HARDEST COLORS TO POT.

2-5-04, rev I, 8-4-05, 3 Pages CR, Fast Larry Guninger all rights reserved. Published DC, Bpn, czm, upp, rsb, ppt, btt, upp, isp.

It’s the dark balls, the colors. The green ball on a green cloth is tough, the purple, the blue on blue cloth, but the toughest one of them all is the dark black 8 ball. If you have the number 8 up where you can aim at the circle or the number you are OK, but if the ball rolls over where all you see is black the shot becomes tougher. When Rashig of Germany came out with a 9 ball set of balls in the late 80's I bought them and paid triple what USA balls were selling for at the time because they were a perfect compound and perfectly round. I loved them and still use them in my show as blocker balls.

They had no numbers and were colors darker than the American balls as well. English snooker balls do not have numbers either, American ones do. No numbers, darker colors made them hard to pot. Once I got use to them I had an advantage. Everyone who played with them hated them. I would beat somebody 2 sets and they would refuse to continue with them. The company finally went out of business for that reason. I then retired them. Their 15 ball set has numbers and lighter colors on the solids and I have a set of these also. The 15 ball sets are hard to find but you can pick up the 9 ball sets here and there.

I prefer to play with Centennials because they have more markings on them to aim at than the super pros. I use the notches a lot around the circle for aim points. The blue circle cue ball is a dog and I throw them away and replace them with super pro cue balls. The new TV balls seem to be now the best playing ball on the market.

People do not realize this 8 ball is a tough ball to pot and they are going to miss it more for that very reason. This problem is compounded by it being the game ball so that ads in the pressure and the choke so now you are missing this ball twice as much or more than any other ball on the table. Success breeds success, failure breeds more failure. I want to break people out of this dog the 8 trap most are in. Most players have a deep dark secret, they shake when they shoot the 8, they hate the shot.

When we lag, I grab the one ball and toss you the dark ball to lag with and grab the left side first so I have more room and I now crowd you on purpose pushing towards the middle I don't have to. If we are doing trick shots like horse where I am playing with somebody, when I make my shot I will use a stripe and set your shot up with a dark ball and move the number so you can’t see it. I'll do the same when I rack on you if there is no rule the one ball does not have to be the top ball, you then get the green ball and all you see is green, no 2, no help. I work people like this and rarely does any one get hip they are even being worked. In my trick shot show I use nothing but stripes to give me the best advantage. I use the 11 ball a lot, and the 15.

I solve this dog the 8 ball problem 3 ways with my students.

(1) Mental techniques to stop choking the cheese, to numerous to list here.
(2) The POL< Point of light aiming method, too long to go into here.
(3) When I play with a student, I rack up 8, 8 balls and 7 stripes. When we break, I always get the stripes and he has to play and run all 8, 8 balls. I have one 8 ball that is different so we know that is the game 8. I just have the student keep shooting nothing but 8 balls until he gets used to them and loses his fear of potting the ball. Eventually the brain erases oh s***, there is the 8 ball with oh boy, there is the money ball. As he is running them I make him keep saying and brain washing his head with on one shot I love the 8 ball, on the next shot I never miss an 8 ball. Yes, it’s too Chinese, but it does work.

The BCA instructors only teach the mechanical side of the game and ignore you head. That, you are supposed to figure out on your own. Most of you never do. What go does it to build a perfect stroke if it won’t hold up under pressure. Come to the power source pool school where the mental game is taught side by side equally with the mechanical basics and fundamentals. We can take the biggest choking dog on earth and turn him or her into an ice man.

I know Larry had touched on this before, and I have the same trouble as you at times, he suggested getting an entire rack of 8 balls and shooting them. I'm certain he can come up with a set for you.

Ignorance is bliss

aint it da truth, aint it da truth, fat, dumb and happy....

Like my home repair skills, the only difference between me and these so called experts, is they have all these fookin great tools. If I had all dem tools,
I could do all that stuff too.

I have 4 tools, a screw driver, duck tape, gorilla glue, and if the first 3 don't fix it, then the 4th tool, my hammer rips the fooker off the wall as it deserves to die and then can no longer aggravate me. Living the simple life is important. Since I don't have no tools, my old lady can't expect me to do nuttin. Fill the garage up with tools and your week end is trashed as you are trapped fixing everything in da joint.

The friggen speed bumps and me flying over them and going air borne, ye haw, broke the bracket and my tail pipe is draggin on the ground making sparks. Yo Sarah say, that is embarrasing, you have to go to Midas and get it fixed, Okie dokie, tear apart a coat hanger, wrap it around the tail pipe and around a steel main frame and that sucker aint gonna go no where for a while. I call it a field repair, innovate. Can I have an amen for a coat hanger around a tail pipe? Who's been there, done that?

What you can fix with a coat hanger is endless.

I know Larry had touched on this before, and I have the same trouble as you at times, he suggested getting an entire rack of 8 balls and shooting them. I'm certain he can come up with a set for you.

Sure, just email me at fastlarry@bellsouth.net and I'll get you a set of all 8.

My first car, '53 Chevy 2dr sedan 210 series, had more coat hangers than my closet
