Yo Bern, do you ascribe to the old saying "study long, study wrong" as it relates to deciding on a shot?

Hi Pel, I believe that "study long, study wrong" is right 80% of the time. The 20% is beginners and safeties.
Beginners should take the time to check out all of their options on everyshot inorder for them to make an informed decision and shoot the highest percentage shot for their capabilities. As far as safeties go looking at all your options is the best idea so the best option is chosen.
On most shots people who have been playing for awhile come up with the correct option fairly quickly and over thinking the situation just removes you from dead stroke.
