Anyways I noticed at the better pool halls the cue ball was definately a bit heavier. Playing with the cheap cue ball that is lighter definately is different. I feel like I can't do to much with it. Anyways there isn't a better pool hall here in a 50 mile radius. I'm stucked. :-(

I bought one of those cue balls that looks like it has the chickenpox. It works well once you get used to the pimples spinning around and around. If the table is dirty, then all that garbage gets on the balls and the cue balls and it makes everything very difficult. Why not ask the room owner if you could wash the balls prior to shooting? Perhaps you can wash all of them for the room owner and get some free table time out of it. It couldn't hurt to ask.

I think getting one of the training balls would definitely help as far as ball control but you still can't expect the same response when it hits those cheap balls as you would when you had all great balls. I wouldn't be playing for money, thats for sure.
