Opps - I posted this in the wrong section. Can one of the Admins. relocate?

Hi,

I have a Predator Break Cue - 20oz, and a Predator 3k2 - 314 shaft -20oz.

I wanted a custom cue with some nice inlays, so I bought a Dale Perry cue and I added a Predator 314 2, and it's 19oz.

Now I know it's a new cue but I'm missing a lot more balls than I did with my 3k2. It's the same length as my others, but for some reason it feels shorter and it seems as though I'm putting my hand furtur back on the cue.

My real question is, does that 1oz in weight difference really makes that much of a difference, or do I just have to get use to the cue? I've been shooting pool for many years, so I'm pretty confident in making balls. I thought a new cue would actually inprove my game, instead of the opposite.

thanks

I'm no expert by a long shot but I think that anytime you change any equipment it is going to require some acclimation.

I used an old Dufferin two piece snooker cue for over 15 years, that was given to me by an old Army Veteran who couldnt see to play anymore. I will always cherish that cue, and when its time for me to retire from playing, I will pass it on to hopefully a younger deserving player who needed a cue like I did.
Then I thought...hey I need one of these fancy newer cues to improve my game, did a lot of research to buy something that fit my budget, and settled on a Predator 4K3 with both 314 and Z shafts. Let me tell you it took me almost a whole year to feel comfortable with that cue, so dont distress, just keep playing and practicing with your new Dale Perry.

Headmuses.
