Bernie, I have a 8 ft. Brunswick, it has a slight roll if you are going along the end rail across the table from corner to corner. No matter what I do I can't get rid of it. The table has 3/4 in. slate, and has two cross members underneath the slate, one at 1/4 and one at 3/4 length. Any Suggestions?

Thanks

Hi IROCK, the slate on the table is good to about ten thousandths of an inch ( about two human hairs) and some minimal roll off can be expected, but any kind off major roll off ( more than a quarter inch) needs to be looked at by a billiard mechanic.

Is the drift just by the rail or does it also happen farther out from the rail ( 5-6 inchs). How old is the cloth and what kind is it. Was it purchased new from a Brunswick dealer because if it was and it is fairly new that should be a warrentee repair or at least a dealer repair on workmanship. What model is it. Does the ball roll away from the rail or into it. Does it drift in both direction across the head rail or just one way. Any extra info you can provide would be helpful.
