Dinner in Montana:

This is a great story! The radio station, America FM, was doing one of its "Is Anyone Listening?" bits this morning. The first question was, "Ever have a celebrity pull up with the 'Do you know who I am?' routine?" A woman called in and said that a few years a go, while visiting her cattle rancher uncle in Billings, MT, she had occasion to go to dinner at a restaurant that does not take reservations. The wait was about 45 minutes; many ranchers and their wives were waiting. Ted Turner and his ex-wife, Jane Fonda, came in the restaurant and wanted a table. The hostess informed them that they'd have to wait 45 minutes. Jane Fonda asked the hostess, "Do you know who I am?" The hostess answered, "Yes, but you'll have to wait 45 minutes." Then, Jane asked if the manager was in. When the manager came out, he asked, "May I help you?"


"Do you know who we are?", both Ted and Jane asked.

"Yes, but these folks have been waiting, and I can't put you ahead of them."
Then, Ted asked to speak to the owner. The owner came out, and Jane again asked, "Do you know who I am?"

The owner answered, "Yes, I do. Do you know who I am? I am the owner of this restaurant, and I am a Vietnam veteran. Not only will you not get a table ahead of my friends and neighbors who have been waiting here, but you also will not be eating in my restaurant tonight or any night. Good bye."

Jane Fonda IMHO should have been shot for treason period. Yes, you may protest but what she did crossed the line and should have been punished. Even though I hate war, I support my war president and our brave fighting men. You won't ever seen me out front of the white house carring any anti war signs. All of my uncles were Marines and they all invaded all the pacific Islands. My family was so proud of its sons they sent out to protect our liberty and way of life. All came home. Some were mentally never the same.

All wars have their protests and most grow weary of it and will protest to end it.

Some of the worst protests of all time occured in the north during the cival war. They wanted it over.
In the South that was not the case. They understood it was do or die. Lose and their way of life was over.
There were no protests. The rebels has on their hands a fight to the death.

Lincoln had to run for re election during the height of these protests and even he said he had zero chance of being re elected. That is the power of these protests. We could have lost Lincoln, and McClellen would have been elected and the greatest moron of his time would have been president and the war would have dragged on until the turn of the century.
The country would have been gutted. Lee might even have taken him and today we would be called the CSA, you. all.

Alas, a few last minute victories, Atlanta falls and Lincoln is re elected, and then shot. They impeach his Vp and a drunk spends 8 years in the most corrupt administration of all time and he becomes the worst president we ever had, us grant.

WWI had few protests as did WWII because we like the south during the civil war knew it was do or die time. We either beat the Krauts and Japs or we were going to die or be enslaved.

The Korean war against the Godless red chinese was not protested as it did not affect our daily lives. We could buy tires, sugar, coffee, gas, cars, beer, TV's, all things we could not in the previous war. It was everyone behind the war then. The boys came home to a draw as heors.

Vietnam is where we lost it. If we did not have that red neck Jackie called corn pone running it. Jack was never going to have a nam, he wrote the orders to pull out and that was why they wacked him.
If I had been in office I would have just announced we won and pulled out. End of Problem. I would have then reduced the north to a 25,000 year old glow that did not go away. You know, bring the Enola Gay out for one more mission. That would been my going away present to Ho Chi Mihn.
I was working for a full bird former colonel at the time and he kept telling me we can't fight jungle wars
with monkeys 10,000 miles from home. He was right.

The tradegy was the way our brave men were treated on return and letting Hanoi Jane off. I would have personally shot the bitch if somebody would have gave me the honor in the firing squad.

That sent the message to our enemies that we are soft, we are pussies and our press are a bunch of faggots. All you have to do is bleed us and begin loading a couple of C-130's full of body bags and we fold faster than a cheap Kmart card table.

The rag heads in Iran and the Muslim world believe this and that is why they are trying to bleed us there now hoping the liberal presss and the bleeding hearts will demand we leave, kiss off 250 billion of money we spent and hand them the victory. They will continue to bleed us as Bush, who I view as a moron, at least has balls and will stay the course. They will wait to see who we elect in 08. This mess drags on until then.

Vote for me, I will pull out, bring all the boys home tomorow and I will spend not another dime there, I will just nuke the god damn place and send them back into the stone age. Iran would be on my list and so would North Korea. Everyone else would fall into line after that little hello card.
Like Mcarthur said when he was fired in Korea, said why did we build the god damn thing for if you wont let me use it. He wanted to drop 50 of them along the Yalu river. Talk about the big bang. Truman shit his pants and fired him because he was scared of old Joe. The drunk captain did not understand the General of the Army.
War from that point on did not become a victory, it became a containment and our brave fighting men became wasted as expendable.

When Truman whimped out and fired our greatest General since Lee, we were never the same. We became internation pussies from that point on, afraid to use our power.

Soon the devil will raise a billion muslims against us and we will but then it will be too late. WWIII will occur and it will be nuclear. The question is when and I think it's in 6 to 8 years from now.

You need to know how politics works. Buying 33 votes would not have been that expensive. Once you are in you get kickbacks on the contractors doing work there and you make a 10 to 1 ROI>
