I've never heard of it until today. I will download BitTorrents and give it a shot when I get a chance. As of now, I would say give it a try...why not? It was released as open source (at ver. 4) which is usually a good sign for quality/security in future versions.

Well I cracked and got bittorrent. I must say this is the coolest thing ever. Praise Allah for this new pirating technology.

It is not a pirating technology. It was designed to allow folks
to rapidly transfer/download large files. It just so happens that
it allows the rapid transfer of anything, but it is not a pirating
technology.

I'm giving it a shot, too. So far so good, it was just confusing at first. There's a ton of material on there, if you're into downloading, I suggest it.
