Thanks for the info Pelican.

I am thinking of going to Capone's at the end of the month to watch his tournament but not sure. I seem to be burned out on spending a whole day driving and watching them play. I am getting too old for standing that long.

It is too bad that pool does not provide good seats for fans/spectators. Then if you do get a seat it seems that all the good matches are at the other end where I can't see them.

I sure did get spoiled when I went to Orlando to watch the IPT. All seats were good and there were no bad matches. Some were just greater than others.

Oh well, the good times are over.

I have only been to one of Tom's tournaments. It seems that the headliners don't go to his tournaments. Since it is at Capone's Earl, Robb and Rodney may participate in it. Maybe Tracie Hines, David Grossman, Richie Richardson and of course Tommy. Watching Tom do his juggling act is fun.

They just finished the Women's 9-Ball Tourney at the Seminole Hard Rock here in Hollywood, Florida. I went over and was very disappointed at the turnout. I hope that the lack of support this year will not dissuade them from returning next year. There are certainly a lot of really fantastic women players to see and learn from.

I believe their biggest problem was a lack of promotion. There was virtually nothing advertising their play here; no newspaper/TV/Radio etc. Had I not seen a flyer on the wall of one of the local billiard establishments I would have never known. Bad PR, very bad!
