The Waitress deliver my order, and i give her the $2.00 + a 50 Cent Tip. The Waitress push the 2 Quarter back at me and mumbles some like she don’t need $.50 that bad and walks away.
My buddy and I discuss the Waitresses Actions, and both agree 25% is a Fair Tip, and apparently this waitress, only wants a Buck Tip or ZIP.
Think the world is becoming a weird place. :-o :-? :-o

Next time she comes over, give her a tip of a penny. She will probably throw it at you. Be sure you are not alone around her so she can't start some s*** and try to set you up. Don't worry, a bitch like this, will be gone in a month. They come and go like street cars. You are under no requirement to tip any body any where. If they give you excellent service, you reward them. If they demand you pay their salary, give them a penny and tell them why. Tell them, that is what they are worth.
10% is minimum, 15% is all that is expected, and this is on the amount of the bill. If the bar bill is a dollar, a quarter is one hell of a tip.
The bitch is trying to control you, hustle you, shame you into tossing money at her. Pool hustlers do the same trick when they want to shame you into playing for bigger bucks.
The entire Vegas experience is all one giant big larger con on this theme.
Hold your ground, do not cave in here.

I am one who will pick up a Penny on the Ground, and suprisingly those Penny do add up.
I work once as a Buy Boy in High School (in the 60's) at a Mexican restaurant right across from the old Warner Bros. Studios in Beautiful Burbank.
I got a $1.25/hr. A meal, and some nights at the end of a 5 hour shift $1.00-2.00 extra from the Two Waitresses, for Busting my BUTT.
The $2.00 was appreciated by me, and I always thanked the Waitresses, who were not obligate to give me anything. As the Restaurant was Paying $1.25/hr. me for doing my JOB.

I don't think it is my responsiblity to pay your salary so I authorize your boss to do that. I award you a 25% tip which is $...... As your boss to take it out of the till and give this to you with my compliments. Have a nice day.

Either way it sounds funny to me, you should have slid another quarter accross the table towards her to see her expression one more time. :-D

You could probably tell her manager/boss and she'll be in trouble for this. I knew a guy who did that working in a resturant and got sent home for it. On the other hand, $2 casadias sounds like one heck of a deal, perhaps they expect tips to compensate???

Actually they were (2) $1.00 Mini Casadias, and that is the everyday price.;-) ;-) As far a the Second Change at the $.50 TIP. It went back into my pocket. If the DUMMY did not want it I will keep it for a Next Trip to that Sports Bar.... :-D :-o :-o :-D

On the back of your bill just write:
I don't think it is my responsiblity to pay your salary so I authorize your boss to do that. I award you a 25% tip which is $...... As your boss to take it out of the till and give this to you with my compliments. Have a nice day.
Above is FUNNY.

cruise ships for a trade show, since there were not enough
hotels in Boston for the amount of people for this show.
Anyway, it seems the crew was used to dealing with the
rich and famous jets-setter types, not engineers and other
computer-type folks like us. They must have felt the tips
(or lack of) were not up to par, and little cards started appearing
explaining what a TIP was! Supposedly it stands for
T. I. P. - "To Insure Promptness", and comes from giving a
little something to a worker so they will better cater to you in
the future. We joked about the cards for a while.
Ah, the good ole' days before I got pushed out of the industry
a year ago, but the memories still last...

Now a good old shiners convention where they all get drunk and start tossing money around is what they wanted to see.
I remember sitting in a bar in Nassau and it took 20 mintutes to get a drink. I noticied there was an automatic 15% tip on the bill so I assumed there was no incentive for the lady waiting on me who had a build like a hippotomus to really rush to serve me since she got hers no matter what. So I had the bright idea to tip her an extra 15% in cash over the top which was a very generous 30% on a very oper priced concoction and my next drink took 30 minutes to get to me?
What can I tell you?

I cant tell you how many serice people have told me Blacks do not tip, not a penny. they will tip another black but stiff a white person.
As this is very racist on their parts, repay it by stiffing every black waiter who comes to your table and take tha tmoney you would have gave to them and put it in the poor b ox at your church instead.

Chinese are very frugal and while it is true a lot of blacks dont tip at all, many others do. Two wrongs never make a right?
