I live just outside a small community that just recently incorparated. It is Magnolia Springs, AL. The main reason for incorporation was to keep the city of Foley, AL from annexing. Foley is not a bad town and they really keep it spruced up with plants, flowers and trees on corners and such. Maggie Spgs, as we call it, just wanted to maintain it's identity. A really nice community. Not sure, but believe we are one of maybe two or three places left in the US where mail is delivered by boat. In fact, my mailbox is on the port side of the stern of my 39.5 foot Biloxi Lugger that celebrated her 70th birthday this year. Here is a pic of the old gal just sittin' at my pier bein' pretty.

Later, Pel

Kansas City and Saint Louis are on both sides of me to the North. I go to both of them now and then. KC seems pretty clean, St Louis I can under stand. That is the advantage of living in a small town, you do not have to put up with that.
