Regional Tournaments

Does anyone have information on regional tournaments for the end of this year and into 2007?

The Viking 9-ball Tour used to come to Pittsburgh, until Mr. Pockets closed. I went up one year and watched the event, I am feeling up for it nowadays.

I'll drive a couple hours, if need be, but it has to be on a weekend. My fingers are crossed. :-P

The 2007 Super Billiards Expo is March 15-18 at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Valley Forge, PA.

Amateur Open Players Championship

FORMAT: 9-ball, races to 5, best 2 out of 3 sets, Single Elimination.
PRIZE FUND: $5,000 guaranteed first place.
FIELD: Limited to 1024 players.
ENTRY FEE: $75.
START TIME: Thursday, March 15th @ 11 AM.
CHECK IN: Wednesday, March 14th @ 6 PM - 10 PM or Thursday, March 15th @ 7 AM - 11 AM.

Entry must be mailed in advance...

I found this on another forum, I'll probably head down this weekend...

1st annual Budweiser 9-Ball Classic $1000 added

Strokerz Billiard Pub will host the 1st Annual Winter Classic January 27 & 28 2007. Entry fee is $50 includes $10 greens fee. Format is Race to 7 double elimination finals one race to 9. Pro express rules. Doors open at 11 am Saturday play will begin at 1pm. Final 16 will play on Sunday at 2pm. The field is open to the 1st 64 paid entrants. Calcutta both days This is an open event.
