Hi all. I have a McDermott cue, E-l5 Panther , from looking a t the McDermott web site, that is in need of a replacement shaft. I need to know what specs I need to gather in order to purchase a shaft. I would like to get as close to original as possible as this is a retired cue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most McDermott cues have a 3/8 10 joint. Anywhere you buy a shaft you'll have to send in the butt part of the cue anyway to ensure a good fit, so they'll find the right match for your cue anyway.

hth.

ok, thanks. I was thinking about buying a new shaft on ebay then taking it to a shop to get it set up.
