Jack up more, stab the ball with a very short 3" stroke follow through, like a boxing jab, hold cue light and flick the wrist. Just nip or pinch the ball.

Hmmm i think i see what ur talkin about...

cause my friend was telling me to keep the cue as low n level as possible. (always jumped n stopped when i tried that)

is it the tip or ferrule or shaft that puts so much english into the ball?
cause when i saw ur movie of u doing a draw man it drawed sooo much~!!! last time i actually drawed correctly i can only draw it like 1 foot...

You need a good tip, find a house cue wiht a full one, then rough it up with a shaper, then jack up a little and stab down into the ball, pinch it, very little follow through. Stab the ball, that is what I call the shot. The stab.

DOES THE METHOD YOU EXPLAINED HERE APPLY TO ALL DRAW SHOTS NO MATTER THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE OBJECT BALL AND THE CUE BALL?

ALSO HOW HIGH DO YOU JACK UP AND EXACTLY HOW LOW DO YOU AIM ON THE CUE BALL?

This is why I refuse to teach the draw over the net, it can not be done.

Yes, but briefly. Try and understand John Roberts in his book in 1911 wrote it is impossible to teach the screw in a book, but I will try and he wrote a entire chapter, 21 pages, 17 diagrams and 17 seperate methods. That was how much he knew about it.

Bob Byrne wrote one paragraph in his book, that is how little he knows about it.

when I do my draw DVD, it will be just on this subject and I expect it to run 2 l/2 hrs.

If I open up this subject 2 things happen to me, one, I give up my secrets to competitors for free, two, it becomes a non ending dialog which goes no where so I just don't do it. You want the draw, come see me for a lesson or wait for the draw DVD.

Absolutely. If at all possible, get a lesson with Larry to solve your draw problems. He consistently teaches you to draw within 10 mins (I took 12 mins cause I was really screwed up). But after that lesson and some consistent practicing, I can draw the entire length of the table and partially back if I want. It is worth the time, money, and energy to spend a day with Larry if you can. He gives you so much more than you expect. I would recommend a lesson with Larry to anyone. I am hoping to get something set up with him in March if I can pull it off...

Good luck,
Craig

Oh lord was Craig a basket case, I thought we both would implode. He did get there finally. They guy has fantastic talent be he was so totally brain washed by the dark side. When I get total beginners, never held a cue in their hands, know nothing, I have them drawing table length in 5 minutes.

Its the people who have read and believed all this crap that does not work is what causes me all of my grief, I MUST convince them they bought wrong data, then erase it, then reprogram them
correctly. That can be 15 min to 30, depending on how much belief and trust they come into the lesson for me. You have no concept how hard that is to pull off. This is why I will spend 2 l/2 hrs on that DVD, I will then put an end to this madness.

I show the student I can draw table length hitting the cue ball at the equator, middle of the ball. I can then draw 4 table lengths hitting on top of the ball, north pole, this destroys the current teaching which is draw low and level with a long follow through. I teach the exact opposite of all of those things.

Please understand, nobody in pool has given more time and more free teaching away than I have, but two things I wont teach here are the draw and the masse, you must be one on one with me, so please accept my postion on this. The net, books, have limitations.
