One hell of a fine wish. I once held that in my hands and saw it evoporate. I won the Atlanta city championship and went to Vegas as a team captain and apa 7. Had them where we wanted them, my strong 3 lady who was a strong 4 against their 3 lady which was a 4. Perfect equal match up and it went hill hill and not the way I wanted it to go down or end up. My lady was so well coached I did not see how we could lose. I figured I had it in the bag. She played well and shot 8 ball for all the marbles. A half table cut, like a spot shot being one game up and choked so bad on it she did not even hit the pocket. Her opponent ran out and took it to hill hill. Once more she played very well and as fate had it pulled the exact same shot for the win and all the marbles. When I saw that, and she could not see me as her back was to me, I put my head between my legs and closed my eyes. I was told she missed the entire pocket again, the same way and the lady ran out for the victory. So close, it was ours for the taking and then it was gone.
The loss was so devasting to her she quit pool for several years. I begged her to come back and shake it off but she could not do that. I said, you did you best, we could ask no more from you than this. You win some, you lose some, this is pool. I think this was 11 or 12 years ago. Somebody has to win, somebody has to lose.

All I really want is a car. Computer hardware is good, I'm short on hard drive space, but if I had a car I could get a much better job in my field, and be more prepared when I graduate.... or even a better paying job.
Working on it slowly, but it's hard when you make what as I do. (I make $5.75/h and can only work 20h/week, usually ends up being around 16 with homework and such.. and I pay for roadrunner).

Last year we failed in 1/4 final at the provincial championship we were only at 2 win to go there and the Cobra went to Vegas but we have a new captain a really strong 8 with strange strategy, like last week he made me play on the three with a ball in hand on the two to freeze it on the rail and the eight :-? and i think this year we gonna show our face in the grand ballet.

hmm... it has to be in pool. Normally I would say something about the car, however, since it has to be in pool... I would like my skill level to go up and to be able to compete at that level. Right now I am an APA 3 in 9 ball. However, my team captain thinks I should easily be a 5. He views me as a very valuable asset to the team since I can get up and win 16-4 or 18-2. To be honest, I have no idea how I have been a 3 this long. :-?
I would also like to be able to masse' better than I am right now. The other things I need to work on is my concentration and stroke. I think if both of those came together then my consistency would come together. :-D Lets not forget the instroke 3/2 buffalo case.

When you are riding it
home, can see the finish line, don't spit da bit, begin beating the ass
with your riding whip and yell out like Tarzan, who's yo daddy. When
she screams FL, don't take it too hard, life goes on.

What I'm looking for at the moment is a career.
At the moment I'm in a part time job after finishing uni, taking whatever overtime I can get.
Once I have a good income I can get myself back into the pool hall (I've not been able to play very much at all recently), and build towards getting a house with a room big enough for a table.
English tables are 6 - 7ft standard, so I should be able to find somewhere.
If I can manage it I'd like to squeeze in an American table too, although only a cheaper one at first, without a slate bed.
Alternatively if Santa were to bring me a car I could manage to get a better stop-gap job.
There isn't really anything else I need.
