I read the book, kiss low and bet high by our board pro Grady Matthews. Grady is a great player and champion. If you are a Grady fan then reading this book is a must.

It is a self written biography and a story of his life and his travels. It is filled with road stories and many photos of pools greatest players.

The only negative is he describes in graphic detail many of his love conquests and what went on in bed using some vulgar language. It does not bother me but I read playboy and other risque magazines now and then.

If you are a real religious person and vulgar talk offends you then pass on this book. If you are a real pool player who expects talk like this from a real pool player then the book should be to your liking.

I also watched Grady's new DVD called 16 steps where he tries to teach you pool in 38 minutes. Its a very basic DVD with no frills but is filled with a lot of very useful information as all of his works have been. I would recommend it as he advances a lot of inside tips you can use in your game.
