Not sure if anyone has been watching this, but all week ESPN Classic has been showing some of the masters in a tournament from the 80's. So far, I've seen Willie Mosconi, Irving Crane, UJ Puckett, and New York Fats.....I mean Minnesota "I took my name from The Hustler" Fats Walter Wanderone.
Very interesting format. Best of 3 sets. First set 9 ball, best of 7. Second set 7 ball best of 7, third set if necessary 8 ball best of 3.
More classic matches scheduled to be on next week too. Pretty cool stuff. Back when pool was a real game with guys in suits and stuff. Awesome.

If you buy a TV guide they list the classic espn. Yesterday they had on Tony Ellin beating Mike sigel in the 94 us open. Most of the paper tv guides dont show this channel listing and you have to have cable of course to get it. Between classic and espn 2 you can pick up a lot of pool but they are at odd times. Dont forget sigel and lori jon are on this week on fox.
