I am looking for a new break cue and want to know everyones opinion on the best

I like my Mace but can break just as well with an old Action that cost maybe 30 to 40 bucks new if that much. Read Larry's desertations on the break and you will find that the cue is not as important as technique.

that is very true
I break with my new mcdermott that's 19 oz and with a talisman hard tip so it indeed is the technique and not the cue.

Absolutely, it is the technique that is the most important. I use a $40 cue from Sports Authority for breaking. I played with it for years before i got serious and bought a nice cue. I get a great spread and can control the cue ball on every break. It is all about the technique, not the cue on the break.
