When you are riding it
home, can see the finish line, don't spit da bit, begin beating the ass
with your riding whip and yell out like Tarzan, who's yo daddy. When
she screams FL, don't take it too hard, life goes on.

Name: “FAST LARRY” Guninger

Home town Atlanta, Georgia.

Age 2005 is my diamond jubilee of playing pool for 60 years.

Male, female : US MALE

Your job, occupation Professional pool player on the UPA pro men’s 9 ball tour, Florida 10 ball tour, SE 9 ball tour, the senior’s tour. Performs trick shot shows world wide. Runs the Power Source Pool School and is a master level instructor.

League player, which one, skill level Joined the Busch league when it first began, now the APA. Was a Vegas Captain, won 2 cities, 6 division trophy’s, achieved APA 7 ranking and was declared a professional by them a decade ago and graduated into the pro ranks. See copy of letter on my web site www.fastlarrypool.com

Best game to play Cribbage, banks, Rotation, 8 ball. Play me 9 ball, there you have a shot at me. That is my worst game.

How long have you been playing: 60 years, began in 1945.

Favorite Pro: Me, just kidding, it’s really Max the Wonder Dog, he makes a living playing pool with his nose. Tom Kennedy US Open champion says, don’t even think about playing the dog, he can get out from under a rock, last time we played he took me down 9-1. The only game I got was when I fed him a hot dog and ran out when he was eating it. How ya gonna win, da dog just keeps going 9 and out, 9 and out, all you do is warm the chair.
Favorite female pro, Jean Balukas. Favorite male pro, Earl Strickland, he fascinates me.

Favorite Teacher’s were: Minnesota Fats, Omaha Fat, Bennie Allen, Fast Eddy Parker, Jimmy Caras, Paul Gerni, Ray Schuler, Rick Wright, and Don Feeney.

What kind of cue and tip do you use: Meucci pp-4, tailsman pigskin layered tips.

Are you going to the us open and if so, want to have a pool chat party. I am playing in the US Open and sponsored in the event by Pro Line Billiards and as a pro player on the UPA men’s tour. We can have a pool chat party at the bar, and or in my suite. Just see me at the event or email me prior to it.

Your beer is: I drink bud long necks.

Do you have a table in your house, apt, what kind and size? In Atlanta, I have two tables, a 9’ gold crown with 760 electric blue. 5” pockets because I teach beginners there and film trick shots on this table. The rubber is K-55 intercontinental German artemis. The pockets plastic which is what I prefer. The slate is heated.

Wonder dog has a 7’ table in another room for his practice and play. He jumps up on it when ever the moods strikes him and runs a rack, then flops down and takes a nap. He spends a lot of time laying on the table looking out the window. He would rather chase and tree squirrels than play pool.

I practice in the morning at pro line billiards on a 4x8 with pro cut pockets, 4 ¾”, 760 Camel, leather pockets, K-66 rubber. It’s the $5000 Chadwick II they have in a corner for me to teach on or film DVD’s at. I love that table, it’s perfect.
In the afternoon you may find me at Mr. Cues II playing on the 9’ Sam’s with pro cut pockets and 860. That evening I may be at Jillian’s playing on gold crown 9’ pro cuts with green 860. I teach and am the house pro at several locations around Atlanta.

I have two tables I take out on the road in a 6x12’ trailer, a 7’ table for only the dog show and a home 8 for my show. These are both Chinese import tables I sell under my own nameplate. I set up and do shows in some wild and crazy places, fairs, parking lots, Pet stores. I have a tent to go over the table.
