Hi, I bought a used Dufferin Cue, model Dot (maple), at ebay for 16.50 Euro. I don't know anything about this Cue, the website of Dufferin is not reachable. Can somebody tell me if I bought a good Cue or a bad one? And what is going on with Dufferin as their website is not reachable? Regards.

Dufferin is a lower end cue. However a lot of folks use their cues to make sneaky petes. They cut the butt off and fit it with a higher grade shaft and tip. Also, the cue does not make the shooter - the shooter makes the cue. All these very expensive cues are purchased because a person likes them for their beauty, collectability, etc. It it shoots well for you don't worry about where it is on the scale. Just RUN'EM!:-o

Later, Pel :-)

The Dufferin co. doesn't exist anymore since last december i have the same Dufferin as you talk about with the maple leaf dot, i have it for 11 years and i just change the arrow last month for a masterspeed because it's the only one fit on the dufferin.

I won a Dufferin Sneaky pete from a guy who I was playing. It was Kinda butt heavy. I thought I would keep it as a Break stick. After a while i did not like it that much, so I took a hacksaw to the butt and cut it off about 5 or 6 inches from the joint, screwed the little rubber bumper back on it
and now it is my Jump Cue. The butt fits in one of the pockets on my case. Now I like it allot, gets me out of a jam every now & then. :-)
Hey a Mister...Okay If I grab a Cue?
